Sunday School

Meets September Through May (Masks are currently required due to Covid-19.)

Ages 3 through Grade 5

10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

 

 

 

Children initially meet in a large group for a puppet show, music, and/or craft.. They then separate into two levels--Pre-K/Kindergarten (ages 3-5) and Primary/Elementary (Grades 1 through 5) to engage in activities from Concordia Publishing House's Enduring Faith curriculum that expand and apply God’s Word in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.

 

Several times a year, the children sing for the congregation during a Sunday worship service. They perform a Christmas program on a Sunday in December. The children are also taught to share the Good News and love of Jesus with others by participating in service projects. 

 

Since parents play an important role in their children’s spiritual growth, we welcome them to stay and hear what their children are learning. Members with a love for children are encouraged to serve as teachers and classroom helpers.
